This Is It
It’s been a wild ride. I cannot actually believe it’s over yet. I think next week at my portfolio show, it will sink in further but not until I’m in my cap and gown receiving my diploma.
At 29 years old, a lifetime of experiences around the world, lots of thousands of dollars later I have finished school. I remember my senior year of high school not really knowing what I wanted to do with my life. I knew technology but the internet and video wasn’t nearly developed as it is now.
From day one I’ve only pursued what I’ve been passionate about. My life has never been anything more than that. My priorities are derived from loving people and helping people out and it has led me here today, my last day of class and a well-traveled, well-cultured and educated person (are we ever really definitively educated? I don’t think so) ready to use those 80 hours of school work in a whole different way.
If you’re in school, keep at it! If you’re thinking about college, go for it! If you’re deciding between travel and experiences, do both or just let life happen and follow what your heart wants. It won’t let you down, it will drive your mind crazy but you’ll experience a full life that way.
