Morning Practice Begins

The question I always get is, why?

It’s not an easy answer but here it is in it’s simplest form. Athletes generally need 8 hours of rest to fully recover. High school age needs even less rest. Our goal in having mornings is to break down and strengthen the muscular system and circulatory system. While it’s imposing on our ever day lives and not an easy time to workout, the fact is, the more we train on broken down bodies, the higher our tolerance is to muscle fatigue, exhaustion, oxygen debt and any other element of athletics we need to perform. The same concept applies to dryland and cross-training.

Two a days are simply one other way to break down and weaken these systems, ultimately, so we can strengthen them.

There is of course, much more to it. Do a search on Google and see what ya find.
